Easy Homemade Play Dough

I have alot of Kool-Aid left over from the 4th of July Planters deals. The boys wanted to play with play dough today but our old Dollar Tree play dough was all dried up. We made our own and made it colored and scented by adding a pack of Kool Aid.

You need
1 c. flour
1 pk. Kool Aid
1/4 c. salt
2 Tbsp. cream of tartar
1 Tbsp. oil
1 c. water

Whisk all ingredients together in a medium nonstick pot. Use a spatula or wooden spoon to stir over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until the mixture forms a ball. Knead until smooth. Store in a closed container.

Hmmm...I'll have to try this recipe. I have one my mom used my whole life, it's a little different. I remember my mom not letting us having 'the real stuff' bc we would eat it bc her playdough was soooo yummy!

Oh yeah, and, we had to store ours in the fridge. If left out it would get moldy....
